The Half-Arsed RevolutionProject at Central Saint Martins
Short film featured in my ‘Designer as Revolutionary’ open studio.

This was created in May 2024, when the election date had just been announced and a sense of revolution was strangely near in the future. I wanted to use my exhibition space to criticise Keir Starmer’s move away from his initial pledges, and eradication of the left of the Labour party. It was interesting to look at this nuance, as my political work normally had addressed the failures of the Tory party, and not the opposition. I wanted to use my film to encourage the left to keep working for socialist ideas to remain significant.
