Parade on City GroundProject at Central Saint Martins
‘Parade on City Ground’ is a process-led counter map that creates musicality from the humdrum of everyday footfall, using real-life instrumentalists.

The map spans three different areas of London, exploring the universal experience of being an individual within our complex city systems, and creating a sense of collaboration between seemingly polar areas. I worked with proximity sensors to create a final experiment, bringing my digital work into the real world. Visitors to the open studio could step into a real city square (now with the added location of King’s Cross), and experience audio, becoming part of my film collection.
